I did a quick search and couldn't really find the answer I'm looking for.

If you never take the USMLE board exams and so you go on to an Osteopathic residency, will you still be eligible for patients with the major health insurance policies and medicare/medicaid?

Yes, 100% same eligibility, same rights, same reimbursement, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

What kind of patients did you think physicians trained in DO residencies are allowed to treat? Patients who are paying in chocolate-baked cookies and crystal meth?

Common sense seems to escape you, my friend.

People with bad bones, or at least that's the very first thing that popped into my head the very first time I heard the term Osteopathic.
