question about fall grade
Started by HHQOPTEDU
Hi HHQOPTEDU, I was a community college transfer, and I already had my SUNY interview, but my application was placed on hold since most of my opto prereqs were done at my community college. So I know my grades are pretty important as well as my OATs. For SUNY, i think the committee just wants to have a look over them, I don't think there's any point assessment, but perhaps a fall transcript is used to validate previous grades/or see if I made any improvements. I'm a little nervous about my fall grades as well, since most of my courses were taken pass no pass! Hope that was helpfullllll

i got an email from ico right after i applied saying that they needed to see my fall grades before they decided if i get an interview or not. i think that is worse than if they want to see your fall grades after an interview, but im not sure..
i got the same email from ico. very nervewracking.

I also got that same email last year. I sent in my transcripts and eventually did get an interview and get accepted. I think another thing they want to see is that you are committed to wanting to get in so even if they throw up a road block or two don't give up. When they ask for something just do it as fast as you can so they can see that you want to go to their school. I don't know how much they really look at things like that, but it doesn't hurt to put your best foot forward.
