Question about getting in, please answer!

I am worrying myself sick. I think I have been put on the 2nd to contact list for every school I interviewed with (7). What does this mean? I guess Im asking am I screwed or do a good percentage of students still get in over the next month and a half or so?

I thought I was in for sure with at least one of the schools.

And I swear I'm a normal good social loving guy. Which means I thought all of my interviews were great.

We're in the same situation, except that I haven't heard from one school that I interviewed at yet.

I guess the only thing I can tell you is what I've been told. Schools send out their acceptances, and they know that not everyone they accept will attend school there. I mean, these people that have 3 and 4 acceptances have to eventually make a decision... so that gives people like us hope.

Its kind of a crappy wait, and its not always going to yield an acceptance. I was on 2 waitlists last year and didn't ever get in. But its what we get to deal with.

With stats like those RELAX. I know someone who did not hear from her d-schools until Feb and her stats were very competitive. Where & when did you apply?

I applied very early. And was done with all of my interviews by the end of October. I interviewed with Louisville, Creighton, Case Western, Marquette, Arizona, UNLV, and Loma Linda. Thanks you guys for any info.

I feel like that is some pretty random bad luck. With those stats and 7 interviews under your belt, I am sure you will have multiple acceptances, eventually. Hang in there!

it isn't over yet. I'm sure you'll be able to get in somewhere. If it takes you an extra year it isn't going to kill you. The high number of applicants means that some people with super stats like you are going to get passed over just be humble about it. Best of luck.

Don't stress it, you guys will be just fine. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of movement between now and June 15th... All these guys with 2+ interviews won't take them all!

I don't think you should worry. If you were interviwed at 7 schools, you did something right on your application 🙂 Also, your stats are competitive and many schools don't fill their seats until later in the cycle. You should try to relax a bit so you don't burn yourself out. Good luck. 😉😎😀

yea man... there are sooo many people declining offers..... 7 myself... none from any of those schools though =(

I'm honestly shocked that you haven't gotten in with those stats, especially with 7 interviews. You would have known if you bombed the interview, and you say you didn't so I'll take your word for it. Waiting on 7 schools I'm sure you'll get in somewhere, but its completely understandable that you're way stressed out. Good luck
