Question about "Have you previously applied to our SOM? If yes, what year?"

Hi everyone,

I am a medical school reapplicant. Many secondaries are asking me if I have applied to their school before and, if so, what year. I submitted my application last year in 2017 for the entering class of 2018. When schools ask for the year, are they asking for the year when I submitted my application (2017)? Or for the year I was expecting to matriculate (2018)? Most schools don't specify... they only say "enter year", so I'm not quite sure how to answer this question.

Probably the year in which you applied.

On an unrelated noted, are these MD secondaries you are doing now? How many do you have left? It is really late in the cycle.

Ah ok, thanks! And yes they're MD secondaries. Im almost done with them, just a couple left.
