I was just granted an interview at ICO. I live in LA, but I was planning to be in Chicago few days after taking the OAT this October for other reasons anyway. I know that they can't decide before getting my OAT scores in any case. So is scheduling the interview ASAP better in any way? Or is it ok to schedule it for the end of October so that I could combine my trips?
Thanks in advance.

WahHHHH! I didn't get anything about an interview because taken 3 classes at a community college and they are slow at processing transcripts!!! That's the only thing I'm missing.

I would say it depends on your financial situation...although correct me if I'm wrong, do opt schools sometimes grant you conditional acceptances where you are accepted if you do this or that?

I'm not sure how conditional acceptances work, I've just started the application process and was just debating if there are any advantages to interviewing now when I haven't taked OAT yet vs in October. As far as the financial situation goes, getting accepted is realllllllllly important to me, so if it makes any difference at all then I would fly in twice. I guess I'll ask the advisor when I'll call to schedule it.

Is ICO the only school you applied to?

SCCO as well

Some schools like ICO will give you their decision within 2 weeks of interview...and you are given another 2 weeks to decide and send in your deposit. So there's a chance that you would lose your deposit if you end up going to another school...i guess it's something to consider

But how could they formally accept me if they don't have my OAT score?
