hey all,

i got an opportunity to work in one of my professor's labs on some zoology-related research next term, which i'm really excited about. however, i'll be working under one of his graduate students and not him. i'm still definitely going to do it, but i want to know where i'd be listing this on VMCAS since i don't think it qualifies as official 'research experience'?

thanks!

It's his lab, he's the PI, it's his grad student... it's experience under him.

I worked for a DVM in a lab, but she spent all of her time doing important boss lady things and I spent 99.999999% of my time with the indentured serve-- grad students.

It's still work under a PhD.

I've done the same thing, and I use it as research exp!
