Hello SDN

I always thank all for great amount of information everyday.

Most of D school requires 3 from professors and 1 from a dentist, right?
I am going get 1 from dentist soon and 2 from professors.
the third one is now a problem.

Currently I am volunteering at a cancer research agency. and there are two professors, one from my university and one from different university.
I asked my university professor to write me a LOR because I also took her class last summer too. But she denied because I barely had interaction with her. Instead, most of the time, I talk to and work with the professor from different university. and this professor is willing to write me the letter.

So I was wondering if i need a letter from whom tought me in university.
Or could it be possible to get a LOR from different university?

Thanks!

2 LOR from professors is generally fine. The point is to get people who know you. If you're a postbacc, 2 letters from profs is the norm.

i think different universities should be fine.
