Question about LORs

I'm applying to both DO schools and podiatry schools. My question is, can I use the same generalized LOR from my pre-med committee for pod school or does the committee have to address my interest in pod schools specifically? Because I already have a LOR from the committee for the DO schools I'm applying to and it would be such a relief to just use the same one for pod schools. Thanks in advance!

Does your committee letter say that "they recommend for MEDICAL school???"------or do they recommend you for generalized Professional schools??"....if its the latter, then it should be fine...But even it's the former, I don't think they'll care......Just make sure you annotate that you're applying for both on your AACPMAS application, b/c they may ask u about it......It's always good to have a back-up plan....You also may wanna check each pod. schools website to check the fine details though regarding committee letters....
