question about northwestern...

is it true that northwestern only considers you a dependent the first year when calculating financial aid? i was shocked to see the $60,000 price tag that came with the first year...does it get any cheaper for subsequent years?

I remember one of the Northwestern admission personnel mentioning something about a loan waiver program at NWU. It's something like if your total loan is over $120,000 at the end of 4 years, they'll pay off whatever minus $120,000. Just something you might wanna check out......hope that helps
