Hi,
This is not a question of "Can a D.O. sucessfully match into a OBGYN residency?" My question is,

I was reading the differences between D.O. and M.D. and I read that all D.O. can delivery babies. Is this true? Does this mean that a D.O. can do a "General" IM, FP, residency, become a hospitalist, and just work as a Gynocologist without doing the OBGYN residency? Someone set me straight here.
Thanks

all MDs can deliver babies, too. whether or not a hospital will let you do so is based on training & experience. if you want to deliver babies, either go OB/GYN or FM at a program with lots of OB experience.
