I'm very confused about OMFS and the tests you have to take to apply for residency. If I wanted to apply for OMFS, would I have to take the CBSE or the USMLE Step 1 & 2?

What would the timeline be? Would I apply during D3?

Do I take NBDE I and II, WREB, and then CBSE or USMLE? How does it work out?

You apply summer going into D4. Yes you take NBDE I and II. Take the boards for wherever you plan to go to residency, and take the CBSE not the USMLE.

I understand you're trying to get an idea of what you will be needing to do, but I wouldn't get too far ahead of yourself if you are still Pre-Dental as your profile shows. You can find out a lot of info from people are your school going through the process themselves. Probably a much better avenue to get info specific to your situation.
