Question about ongoing activities in "Work and Activities" section

If I have been in an organization since the beginning of college, and I will be in it until the end of my time in college (May 2014), can I just put that I have been in it from Aug 2010 - May 2014? I ask because the AMCAS Instruction Manual says:

"Your start date must be no later than the current month and your latest end date must be no later than the August of the current application cycle."

Yes you can do that. I listed all current and future activities on my application and discussed them during interviews as the progressed.

I believe Aug on the upcoming cycle refers to Aug 2014 (right before you would start class).
