So I currently work at VCU School of Dentistry. I'm applying to 15 different schools due to my GPA, but I feel like if I mention I'm gaining patient interaction skills and improving my hand skills through my job at VCU School of Dentistry, other schools reading my statement will be less inclined to invite me to an interview if I'm basically giving VCU a shout-out in my Personal Statement. Maybe they might assume I'm only willing to get into VCU (which I guess on one hand maybe VCU would be more willing to accept me?) Should I include or not include this experience in my statement? Because on the other hand, I feel like it's a really good thing I'm leaving out, but I open my possibilities with other schools around the country otherwise.

I would include it, don't emphasize on VCU giving you the opportunity, but rather on how these interactions helped you and how much you liked interacting with patients that often

You can include the experience and not include the fact that you received it at VCU, cant you? I mean you could always just say the title of the position, what you did and what you gained, you dont have to say where you worked.

Also, arent you listing VCU on your Work Experience section of AADSAS anyways?
