Hi everyone, I am preparing for the 2008 application cycle. Currently I am busy writing my personal statement, but when I looked at most university's website, they never post any guidelines for writing it, does that mean I can write with any format I want? How long should it be?

Another question is, if we consider the entire application procedure as 100%, how many percent do you think the personal statement is gona take up?

it's 4500 characters long. format as necessary. Try the search function. This is beaten to death and a thread on this came up two days ago.
