Does anyone know how the pharmacy interview works when you apply to out of state schools or to a school that is 8 hours away from your current location? I understand the interview is required but are we expected to fly out for the day just for an interview? I was unable to find information on this subject through searching. Your help is appreciated.

Second question... do you believe going through the early admission in pharmcas is wise or should someone just apply to a few different schools? They do not get back with notification until the end of October and if I do not get accepted then I feel I may be scrambling to send out applications. I also feel that since the application is being sent out close to November the spots may already be taken.

Thank you for any help this is driving me crazy. My pcat score was high and I have everything else done so this is the last leg.

You usually interview at the pharmacy school campus. I'm from the west coast and I flew to the east coast to do some interviews.
