Question about physician salaries

I have looked at salary data for physicians and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if that is before expenses (malpractice, etc.). What is the average starting salary for a doctor straight out of residency? For example, I've seen that pediatrics and OB/GYN make around $126,000 and $200,000 respectively, and I'm wondering how long does it take to get to this salary. Thanks!

These numbers sound kinda low compared to what graduating residents I know are claiming they will make in their first year out. So I wonder if these stats are old or something?
