Question about practice NBMEs

Are the NBMEs all scaled differently? In other words, can I get more questions right on one practice test but get a lower score and get less questions right on another test but get a higher score? Just trying to understand why my practice score ended up so low when I felt a lot better about the exam when I took it...

I don't think anyone knows how NBMEs are scored but I'm pretty sure most people would say that it is not a fixed scoring system. So to answer your question, you can miss the same number of questions on two different NBMEs and get two different scores.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
