I have never applied to allopathic schools but have applied to osteopathic schools. If I apply to AMCAS for 2020-2021 would that make me a first time applicant ? Or am i considered a re-applicant because I have applied through aacomas (even though they are seperate).

Being a reapplicant really only comes into play for schools that received an application from you before. Since you have never applied to MD programs, you would be considered a first time applicant at all programs you apply to.
