Out of curiosity. The Steroid receptors after binding w/ their zinc fingers, they bind to ENHANCER elements on the DNA to increase the transcription of whatever enzyme right?
At the same time water soluble hormones do the same.... the CREB binds to ENHANCER elements?
I capitalized ENHANCER because it seems that that word is only used to describe steroids receptors, i've not seen it in the description of water soluble hormones....It seems that they both (although via different pathways) ENHANCE transcription of whatever gene...
Thanks guys...you guys are freeeeeeeeeeeakin awesome
