Question about referencing

Hi everyone,

I'm finishing up my supplemental for a school, and I am answering the "Why our school?" question. I wanted to reference an article, but I don't know if you need to formally cite it on the application. Has anyone else ran into a situation like this?

If you have room for it, I guess it wouldn't hurt to cite it. On the other hand, don't make room for it if you have more important stuff to say!
