Hey wooki, my original classes were on a quarter system and I am looking at two CC, one of them is on a quarter system and the other one is on a semester system. The quarter based one I think won't be able to replace my classes based on what you said. They have the 3 parts but each parts is only 2 credits. I knew that the replacement has to be more or equal credits, it's just that they say when all 3 parts are completed it will be transfer as one semester course and I wasn't sure about that policy.
Edit: Oh, I think I am misleading you guys. Yes the classes at the CC will be 999A, B, C. However, each class is 2 credits (quarter credits) and will be transferred as one semester class when all 3 are done. They are not 3 different classes like in a typical uni (maybe like bio 120, 130, 140). They are one class like intro to biology (biol 120) and its done in 3 parts.
Also, do you know if I take two consecutive semester classes, can I use it to replace two quarter classes. For example, I take class 999 and 1000 (semester courses) can I use them to replace my 888 and 890, which is on a quarter system. The class content in the two semester classes is the same as the three quarter classes and the credits will be equal or greater, it's just that I did well in 889 and not 888 or 890. Thanks in advance.
