Question about scorefor Step I

this may sound kind of stupid, but how exactly is the three-digit score for Strep I calculated? Is it simply the number of questions you answered correctly out of the 300 questions that count toward your score (aren't there 50 questions that are not counted)? If this is the case, then it does not matter how anyone else does on the test i determining your score, unlike the MACT.

No. Both the three digit and two digit scores are derived somehow from the raw score. THe NBME is very secretive about how they come up with the score.
