I posted this in the school-specific thread, but I figured I'd get more responses here.

One of the questions from LMU-DCOM's secondary asks what people or experiences led you to want to become an osteopathic physician. My personal statement basically answers this question. So what do you think about making some slight modifications to my personal statement and submitting it?

Thanks.

Re-submitting your personal statement with a couple changes is just redundant. Your PS is usually just for "Why medicine," LMU wants to know why osteopathic medicine. Maybe there are some specific experiences you can describe in more detail? People you could describe better? Whatever you do... don't give them exactly the same thing twice.

I have the same issue.

I very BRIEFLY wrote about why DO in my PS. I think it'll be just fine to elaborate more on what you wrote in your PS, obviously not repeating anything twice but just put in more detail.

I did say slight modifications. Haha...j/k.
