The Stonybrook secondary app asks the following question: (answered in less than a page)
11. DESCRIBE AN OBSTACLE YOU'VE OVERCOME AND HOW IT HAS DEFINED YOU.
I wrote my personal statement for the AMCAS app about my experience with chronic pancreatitis, and how it influenced my decision to become a doctor. Would it be okay if I wrote about this for this question as well, but instead approach it from the perspective of how I coped with it in order to try to live a normal college life? Or would this seem too repetitive? I'm not sure if I can think of any other obstacles that have gone so far as to "define" me.
