Question about secondary application email...

This is my first year applying. I received an email from ASDOH stating "We have received your application materials from AADSAS and welcome you to our admissions process. We invite you to access our online secondary application at the link below:" Do all the other ~3000 applicants get this same email? I have received a few other emails from various schools letting me know they have received my application but none of them have asked for a secondary application. Perhaps ASDOH is different...I dont know. Also, I received an email from Western University saying, "Complete and submit our supplemental application no later than January 15, 2009." Once again, does every applicant who applies there get this same email? Everything has been sent to each dental school except my DAT, which I take the first week of August. Please let me know. Thanks.

I recieved the same email the day my AADAS application was mailed to the school...I was wondering the same thing since they just recieved it that morning and were already sending me secondary requests.
