question about shadowing hours

Hi regarding the hours shadowing part of the application should I put down the hours I anticipate shadowing or should I wait till I complete those hours. I would like to submit my app this week but the dentist I'm planning on observing comes off vacation in two weeks. I have already been shadowing another dentist but want to see how it is in a larger office. Thanks.
