Can anybody give me an estimate of when the realistically-hoping-to-get-in-somewhere deadline is for submitting the AADSAS application? I messed up the DAT badly the first time I took it back in late August and I am now waiting for the 90-day period to pass. I know AADSAS has an official list of deadlines but from the progresses I see you guys making here with your application is there any point to apply if I submit the application around Thanksgiving break? Please advise!!!

hate to say it, but it is very very late now. Unless you have 3.7+, 20+ stats, your chances are pretty much slim to none.

It is starting to get a little late in the game simply because it will take AADSAS at least six to eight weeks to process your application, which will put it out around mid of December to January, schools will be taking some time off for Christmas, and then they will have to wade through all of the other applications. You might still have a chance a few of the schools and if you want to take a shot at this cycle then go ahead and apply, but I think you stand a much better chance if you were to file your application in May or early June for the next cycle.

If you really want to apply now, be very selective in the schools which you will be applying (apply only to a handful). I know of a couple of friends who got in after they turned in their app after Dec. so I know it can happen. Realistically speaking, this year seems to be the most competitive yet, so those days may be long gone.. who knows. If you have the $ to spend... why not try? Again, be selective. Good luck!
