I had questions about the best timing for applying and many people suggest not to hurry unless I am so ready for DAT test. So I decided to take it little later around end of Jun since I have to study DAT with my classes during Spring semester.

However, while I was figuring out the process of applying, I found something strange.

Correct me if I am wrong.

1.

In every each cycle, it opens around begining of June, and everyone is starting to apply it, some people submit right away, some people prepare it from then.

because I am taking DAT around middle, or end of June, I am not going to be ready for begining of June, but is it still better way to be ready and submit everything begining of June and take DAT later ?

or Does it not matter since I don't have DAT score yet ? which means dental schools won't care about my application because I don't have DAT score yet..

2.

why the hell does ADDSAS take so much time ( 2- 3 weeks ) to send the score to the schools ones applied ?

Why can they just send it after they get the score ?

why does it need to be 2 -3 weeks ?

For example,
If I take DAT next end of June, as soon as I finish the DAT I will get the score right ? and it will be updated after few days and ADDSAS will get the score right after it.

Then, they just can send it as soon as they get it through internet or whatever the method they are using, there is no reason it takes about 2-3 week. dont you guys agree ?

Then, it will take just maxium few days and I can complete my whole process by with starting July. If I am ready for everything else by that time..

I know I have too concerned about the application but this is my first try and also the last chance for my dream being dentist. I don't have next year cycle chance at all..

1. You can submit your AADSAS before you take your DAT and after your scores are submitted, it'll catch up. You minus well submit your app if you are done, one less thing to worry about. Plus they have to verify your GPA so while AADSAS does that, you can take your DAT. As long as your in by July sometime, I'd say you were early.
2. The ADA audits all DAT score reports to make sure everything is accurate or something like that. It takes 2-3 weeks even though it's electronic though if it makes you feel better, I heard it used to take wayyyyy longer when it wasn't electronic.
