question about the PAT section

Yes the sequence is the same. The difficulty is not. CDP's Keyhole, TFE and Pattern folding are too easy compared to the real thing. The Hole punches, Cubes and Angles are a little harder than the real thing.

I used crack DAT pat. I actually thought keyhole, top front end, hole punch, and cube counting were all easier on the real DAT. Angles and pattern folding were about the same to slightly harder.

I hated the cube counting on Crack Pat because they would always give you one that had like 40 cubes for 3 measly questions!!!

I took my DAT yesterday and scored 24 on PAT.

I'm getting 23s now in CrackDAT PAT. It is kind of fun. Instead of playing chess when I am taking breaks from studying I open the program up and practice away.

I hope angles aren't harder:scared:. This is the one section I am surprised how difficult it is. To discern the differences in angles, good Lord, I mean...some of them are so close. I keep getting only like 80% of these right. Any tricks to mastering angles when they all look the same? I rememer hearing that a few years ago there were some tricks like holding the paper up to the computer monitor or something but now we are not allowed to touch the screen or something like that...

Google condog51 and watch his rapid eye technique video on youtube. (you can also pay to get special access to Ross' videos) its really helpful, but its all about practice. I found the angles MUCH easier the more I did them and definitely CDP was harder and there were more cheap 2-3 degree difference questions so...yeah.

I finished CDP 10 tests 1 month before the test and averaged 21-ish. I got 23 on the real thing, but in that one month I did a ton of tests (top Score, Achiever, Kaplan etc. etc.) so maybe that did benefit my score). Just do as many questions as you can and PAT becomes second nature.

A practice a day keeps the bad scores away!

Oh yeah! 👍 scored a 25 on CrackDAT PAT, scores are going up up up and away...

19, 21, 21, 23, 25...now I just hope my science scores can do this as I practice.:scared:

the order is the same as crack, but the difficulty of the sections really vary compare to crack. The first time I took the DAT all the sectioned seemed a lot easier, the second time, Keyhole, TFE, and angles were much harder than crack.
