I'm a noob to these forums still, so I apologize if what I'm about to ask is common knowledge.

I noticed that the pre-MD forum has its own section for WAMC with individual threads that people can respond to, but in the pre-DO forum its just a single 48273423-page thread. As a result a lot of these WAMC questions go unanswered, or if it does get a response it's a pain to try to locate the replies.

Is there a reason for this? And can the pre-DO forum get it's own pretty WAMC section as well? Pretty please? 😀

This has been asked before. (Let me put a shameless plug in here for the search function.)

The pre-allo forum gets a subforum because there are so many more people applying for allopathic schools. The pre-osteo WAMC thread is nowhere near 48,273,423 pages. Not even that many posts. The idea for a subforum however is revisited on occasion by staff.

I completely agree. It does seem that it is difficult/sporadic to get replies to questions on those threads. It would be much more helpful, in my opinion, to have smaller threads.

I know, I was being slightly sarcastic with the numbers. But thanks for the responses, hope to see it happen one day.

I have to agree that the wamc's thread is very difficult to read. If people forget to use the quote, you have no idea who they are replying too, and after a couple pages your post is pretty much lost and forgotten.

While there are not the 48273423 posts like the OP said, over 650 is still a lot to weed through.

If there can't be a separate forum, maybe at least we could have more than 1 per year - maybe start a new one every month or so.
