Hello,

I sent out my second transcript (form other university where I took 2 pre-req courses) on June 29th.
It was mailed-out on that day and it has been 7 business days including today. (excluded July 1st since it was Canada day so Canadian post was closed for that day. Also excluded July 4th.)
However, I still do NOT see any changes made on my application website.
I know that it takes time but I am worried for my transcript being lost by post office. (I have experience where Canada post lost my mail that I sent for my dad's b-day🙁( )

I wanted to do the courier shipping when I sent my transcript out, but university did not offer the option of it.
So, can I obtain the sealed copy of transcript from the university and send via courier services? (Or should all of the transcript mailed out through universities??)

It hasn't even been 10 full business days since you requested the transcript from your school. Most schools take 2-3 days (sometimes even 5) to process the request and send out the transcript, then it'll take time in transcript, once it's received AADSAS doesn't typically update right away as other posters have indicated, and then it can take up to 1-2 weeks for your GPA to be verified after you've e-submitted. You definitely need to give it more time.

All transcripts have to go out from the university directly to the program to be considered official. If you receive it and then courier it yourself, it won't be considered an official document.

Thanks. BTW I requested on june 25th and school prcessed it on june 29 th + sent it through post office.

Mine is still not up🙁( did anyone sent their transcript on June 29th?

My school sent my transcript on June 26th and it is still not showing up on my AADSAS. 12 business days And still no transcript posted is a little excessive I think...

I know... I was actually thinking about sending it again if it is not up by today.
Do you when does AADSAS do most updates on their site??

I have no clue, but contemplating the same thing. I know they are behind due to a mass error they had a couple of weeks ago regarding sending out applications, but if they don't have my transcript updated by Thursday I'm going to send another one then.

yeah.. Good luck to you!!

People being impatient and sending multiple copies of their transcripts because they just randomly have a feeling their transcript got "lost" (which almost NEVER actually happens) causes delays for the entire system because those multiple copies you guys are sending have to be processed, which takes up time the AADSAS employees could be using on things that actually need doing.

Thanks guys!

Thanks for your reply!
I was just worried about my transcript being lost since I already have an experience before🙁 (and I am international student so the delivery takes a while so I do not want to delay my app further..)

I guess I will wait for a bit but I am a bit worried with my situation..
Anyways, thank you!!

They seem to be really backed up as of the second half of June. You probably just need to give it more time. It likely won't help to send another copy of your transcript in unless they explicitly inform you that yours was lost after the correct waiting time. You should call and ask first or email them before sending another copy. They seem to receive transcripts but don't post an update until days later.

@PlasmaMembrane how long does one have to wait until they are no longer considered impatient? 3 weeks, a month, two? I'll be the bad guy and take my chances at delaying the entire system. Time is a critical factor in the application cycle and I'd rather not spend mine "hoping" someone didn't lose my transcripts...

If time is such a critical factor, why did you wait until the end of June to send your transcripts?

As one of those people... you're welcome 🙂

@PlasmaMembrane Because I was taking a summer microbiology course in which the A received would bump my gpa up into the next number range making me a more competitive candidate numbers wise.
