Do you know if the school you want to transfer to even has open spots? Last I heard this is very rarely an option. I guarantee had I had this option I would have transferred closer to home/to a less pricey school.

I think your husband/wife has to be where you want to go or someone in your family is really sick and there's an open spot. It's supposed to be really difficult.
