I am just wondering how Waterloo calculates your gpa? Is it just cumulative, all undergraduate years, all undergraduate degrees, even summer school and online courses. Or best years?

I assume it is the OMSAS scale that is used

Also, with a cGPA at about 3.5 would I have a decent shot, assuming above avg OAT

Any confirmation/information is appreciated, thanks!

I actually emailed them regarding GPA calculations. Their GPA calculation is cumulative, so it includes all of undergrad, as well as summer courses. Not too sure about multiple undergrad degrees. Also, they said that in their GPA calculation, they use the actual grade given at your university and not the 4.0 scale.

I have a similar cGPA as you and I have been given an interview. I would like to think that anyone with an interview has a decent shot.
