Simple question, what is the best computer font for the eyes for reading?

I'm not asking for the best looking one or the best one for making your eyes healthy. I know we all write lots of reports and type lengthy amount of texts. I would like to know when I submit my reports, what is the best font for my prof or TA to read so they don't feel tired of reading my report. I understand that they will likely be reading tonnes of text within a short allotted time to grade material and I would like to help relieve them of being tired of reading. Maybe even make them a teenie bit happier?

Thank you in advance for responses. Not sure where else to ask than this forum. Maybe my optometrist? 😛

are u serious?

Agreed...funny question. However, I feel like a dork b/c I may be able to help out a bit.

After talking with a Prof with this similar question I was told that a font with a serif is easiest for the eyes to flow and stay on same line.

Serif font is like this, with the lines at the bases

Now excuse me, but the tape on my glasses broke and my pocket-protector didn't stop my pens from leaking through.
