Hello everyone, still new to the forums, I have a question/need advice about chicago residencies.
So the situation is I am one class above my girlfriend and hopefully soon to be fiance come may. Anyways I am trying to plan ahead. I will stay in KC for a prelim med year while she finishes med school. Ideally I would like to stay in the mid-west where I am from. Since we are not couples matching because she is one year younger, I guess the best probability to end up in the same city is one with many programs like chicago right? I would try to get an advanced position while she would start intern year there.
My question is if you guys could help me out possibly rank all 7 chicago programs based on competativeness of getting in. My step 1 score was 208, step 2 ck is sept 26 and I know will do much better.
Anyways, I have an out of town kind of late (October) and since I am not the strongest candidate I would like to rotate at a place I could get in and possibly interview at during the rotation since I cannot use a letter (october is too late).
Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for help!
