Question difficulty dependent on how you're doing??

So I was chatting with my godmother the other day, and she asked if the DAT questions were dependent on the previously answered questions... she mentioned for the GRE, the questions get easier or harder depending on how you're doing with the questions you've answered. So like, if you notice the questions are getting easier, be concerned because you're probably doing poorly lol

She's taken the GRE like two or three times (she's an English professor), but I've looked this up for both the GRE and DAT, and haven't found anything that's confirmed this?? So idk if she or her sources are even correct.

Basically, please please PLEASE quell my concerns and tell me that this is not true, that she's a crazy person, and I'm a crazy person for listening to her. Because now that theory is in my head as I'm taking practice exams, and I really don't need to be second guessing myself more than I already have been.

The DAT is not an adaptive exam like the GRE, don't worry about it!
