ok so the question is: All of the following are components of the pistil EXCEPT:

A.stigma
B.Style
C.Ovary
D. A B and C
E. None of the above

i chose E since all of them are part of the pistil, but the answer came out to be D. my question is what do we do for these "types" of questions? know what i mean?

E says none of the above, not all of the above

If you choose "D.all of the above" it reads like this:
all are components of pistil except ovary, stigma, and style.

so it's better to choose E. none of the above

E is the correct answer, what confuses the poster is the fact that Kaplan says D is the right answer. 🙂 If I correctly remember that particular full length test has 3-4 bio mistakes.
