question for current Mayo students

Out of curiosity, anyone have a rough idea of how many of your classmates came in off the waitlist? Looking at past years threads doesn't seem like an accurate estimate, as it only shows those SDN users that got off the waitlist and decided to post it. I can't express how much I loved Mayo...I've been waitlisted and am trying to cling to whatever hope I can find. It's hard to imagine anyone turning Mayo down, though 🙁

Actually I think that a quite a few of my classmates got in off the waitlist but have no clue to what the "number" is..maybe some can chime in. Good luck and just let the office know of your desire to come to Mayo...

BTW people do turn Mayo down you would be surprised...but Rochester is not for everyone..

Not 100% sure but I would say about half. That is mostly a gestalt feeling based on conversations with my classmates.

If you want to come here, whatever you do just hang on. I didnt find out until early June.

For the class of 2007 (of which I am a member), Mayo, to the best of my knowledge, and confirmed by many others, didn't move the waitlist at all. Ergo, USF! 🙂
