Trying to decide whether to submit my USMLE score with ERAS or just COMLEX...I'm really interested in a bunch of programs that do accept COMLEX ...Thing is my USMLE score is just about the average and COMLEX is above average....any advice?

Give me numbers...

Likely submitting your USMLE (if it is not poor) is a good move, as it allows a better comparison.
You will likely get interviews regardless of USMLE submission.
Best of luck

Agree with my main man Wagner...

As long as your USMLE score isn't horrible, it will put you on a level playing field with the rest of the applicants. I didn't take the USMLE, but scored very well on the COMLEX. I definately had more than enough interivews, but some places that I was strongly considering (MCV in VA, for example) didnt' give me an interview... I feel that it is because I didnt' take the USMLE (a fellow DO student who scores like I did on the COMLEX, but did have the USMLE got an interview from there).

So, my point is you will still get interviews without the USMLE, but might get a few more if you do submit the USMLE.

Q, DO

I too am in the same position. Am strongly considering allopathic EM residency, my USMLE score was 211/86 and my COMLEX score was 597/87th percentile. I am in a dilemma because I know that my USMLE score is below average, but my COMLEX score is well above. Any suggestions on what I should do? I don't want to exclude myself from any residencies, but don't want to lose out because of my below-average USMLE score.

You scored very similar to myself ( I was a tad bit higher on both)...and let me tell you that it will get you INTO THE DOOR...the interview is the make or break.
Fear not young grasshopper.

DW- What year are you, BTW?

Q, DO

What about a USMLE of 200 (with a much better COMLEX)...submit USMLE or not?

Tough...is it step 1? I would be inclined NOT to send, but this is only my opinion.
Say, if you took step 1 with a 200 and then step 2 with a 220 and showed the big increase, I would send...but if you have no intention of taking step 2 and the 200 is your only score, I would NOT send it (especially if your COMLEX is >80%)
