question for kroger pharmacists

Anybody working for Kroger at Atlanta or lawrenceville area in Georgia? I heard this year the company is not offering any bonus or tuition reimbursemnet, is that true? How is the overall job situation in this area?

Can't comment on Kroger, but in general the job market in Atlanta is very very tight at the moment. My sources tell me that if you are willing to go elsewhere in GA then there are openings; otherwise, probably not.
 
ditto, the job market in ATL sucks big time. I'm still waiting for an opening. Seems like no one is hiring???😕
 
I am in GA. Our DM mentioned that he only had one opening in the Atlanta area and was getting a several calls per week from students about the job (this was a couple of months ago).

If you are willing to relocate to one of the smaller cities in GA you will have better luck finding a position.

no thanks. I already got a job offer with another company. Kroger would be the next to last company I would want to work for.

I know that Atlanta itself is saturated, but how is the job market in the surrounding suburb areas (e.g., Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Marietta, etc.)? I would consider going even further out if necessary.
