Do any MSSM students drive to school? I live in Riverdale now (just north of the city) and am going to either take the bus or drive. Obviously, I'd rather drive, but parking is a concern. Where do students who commute generally park and how much do they pay? Thanks

If you meant MSM in ATL, then the answer is that you do need a car...because public transportation is not very accessible to those who live outside the perimeter, so its best to live closer to school if you want to take the bus.

um, I believe the original poster was referring to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.

I don't think there is any reasonable parking in the area.

ehh, depends what you consider reasonable. it's certainly not a glitzy part of the city. i woulnd't be surprised if you found a garage for slightly under 200/mo.

BUMP

Anyone with a more concrete answer please?

I live in Sinai housing but keep my car here. Parking is definitely hard to come by, especially in the morning and with alt side of the street cleaning. The only time it's relatively easy to find parking in this neighborhood is when most of the Sinai employees are leaving at 5pm. The cheapest parking lot in the area I could find in about a 10 block radius was around $250 a month. So unless you're willing to shell out that much a month you may have to deal with public transportation. There may be a cheaper lot out there but you would have to do a closer sweep of the area. The Liberty Line express buses stop by Sinai...are you able to take one of them?
