Ok here's my situation: so I've been through RR once and then I went through it again while listening to the Goljan audio files and adding notes as I went along. Know I feel like I'm at a fork in the road and am at a loss of what to do next. For those using a similar strategy, are you planning on annotating all your RR path notes into first aid and eventually just using that? Or are you going to use first aid primarily for the other subjects and stick to RR for path? Anything else I'm missing?

It all depends on how fast you can get through that RR book. Near the end, I ended up transferring some notes into FA and am using FA solely but i reference RR for clarification on many subjects that I feel are unclear in my head.

for me everything is in first aid EXCEPT for path.....I went through FA quickly after doing RR/audio and only highlighted stuff that was not in RR (ie some buzzwords or random $hit that the FA authors thought was worth it).....now I just do RR and take a quick look at whats highlighted in FA

i'd just stick with RR, personally. i mean, whatever you feel would be best for you . . . but i think seeing the information in the same book over and over makes a big difference in terms of recall. i know i remember many things from goljan's book by remembering their order in a particular table. FA is good for this same reason for a lot of subjects, but we all know path is the biggy so might as well use the better text.

just my thoughts. good luck mate
