Hey Tom,
Wondering about why is it you didn't attend NYU and apparently some of your family did? Did you not like the school? Did they have bad experiences with the school?
Just curious because I plan to attend there in about 1.5 years, well its my first choice. Any extra "tid-bits" of info. would be appreciated.

After seven years of commuting in the NYC subways during high school and college, I went to Buffalo instead simply because I needed a change of scenary. 😀

Sometimes I do find myself wishing I had gone to NYU though, because dental schools in small towns have limited patient pools and makes 3rd and 4th years somewhat more stressful for the dental student.

NYU is a fine dental school. Both my sister (Class of '00) and my uncle (Class of '86) are very good clinicians because of NYUCD. I have hung around the place quite a bit volunteering at Bellevue before dental school started and during summer OMFS externships and I can say without reservation that it's a good dental school to attend. Shoot, it looks like I praise NYUCD more on this board than I do my own school!
