Question in regards to casper

Hey everyone, so I am applying this upcoming cycle. I am stuck between April 7th and May 1st. I want to apply as early as possible since I am in Texas and lots of Texas schools require casper. I want to score well (preferably 3rd quartile and above). Would taking May 1st cause any delay? Would it be better to take April 7th? How long is a feasible prep time? Thank-you.

2 days prep can be enough for some people. Some take 1 week, some spend more. For CASPer, you need to plan a "strategy" for each type of scenario. If you normally don't type very quickly, you might need more time to practice typing.
imo April vs May test date won't make a difference. I remember most schools don't make a final decision until they receive your CASPer result, but may still send interview invitation. The most important thing is to make sure your TMDSAS is well polished and submitted early, then aim for submitting the secondary app within 2 weeks. Don't stress too much about CASPer

I don't think so. I'm not directly familiar with TMSDAS, but if it's like AMCAS, you can get Casper done after you submit your primary. Remember that schools won't even really begin reviewing completed applications until July, and most II's don't go out until August at the absolute earliest

May is still very early. For May-July, you only need to make sure you get the TMDSAS app out along with secondary apps

God I love opportunities to hate on Casper. CASPER SUCKS. It is the worst thing ever created. The questions are stupid as hell and not realistic. To score well, every single answer you give is a robotic, programmed answer. They don't care for actual thought, they just want you to tell them what they want to hear.

It's also literally just a money grab. They all talk about making admissions processes more accessible to low-income communities, but then continue adding stupid requirements that cost even more money. Casper is the actual scum of the earth.

This past cycle I scored 3rd quartile on Casper, but I genuinely tried to fail it, so idk how I got that score. On multiple instances, I told them I would not tell on my friend who cheated, or I would give a good peer review score to a group member who didn't actually deserve it. Cause that's the TRUTH. I ain't no damn snitch. I ain't never give a group member a bad review, 5/5's every time for every category. Idc if they didn't help in the slightest, I ain't ruining a grade for no reason, I would've done the whole project myself anyway cause I would have done it better on my own to begin with.

Casper deserves to BURN.
