Hi everyone,
I got an interview invitation today form Midwestern Univ., and it's my first invitation to dental schools.
For those who know well enough about Phoenix/Glendale area or the University, please help me out. I am coming all the way from Boston, so I will be flying in the evening, probably arrive in the airport close to midnight, interview in the morning-afternoon, and fly back out in the evening ?!
I have few questions in regards to transportation, hotels, etc.
1) How far is the campus from Sky Harbor Airport??
2) Should I get a hotel in Phoenix or Glendale? Do you recommend any? Price? How long does it take to get to the campus?
(no car, I won't be driving; I will be taking the cab to go around places)
3) On the day of interview, do people .. I guess, the out-of-state applicants.. carry around their belongings? I should ask, where do they put their belongings?
4) Do I need anything besides a portfolio in my hands on the day of interview? A small bag/purse would be ok, right??
If you can give me any comments or suggestions to my questions or the interview itself, that will be VERY helpful.
Thanks in advance and good luck to you all!
