Question on DAT Bootcamp Free PAT Test Number 88?

For question #88, the solution says that we can eliminate Choice B because the left side should extend higher than the right side...but if you fold from the top over, couldn't the left side be the lower side too? In that case, how would you distinguish between Choice B and Choice D (the answer)?

In the position shown, it is only possible for the high side to be on the left. Always fold into the page. Aside from that, the high side is too high relative to the other.
