i have been practicing my PAT using CRACK (hahaha that sounds funny...) and have determined that my best pathway thru the pat portion is to start with cubes, then folding, then aperture, tfe, angles, hole punch...

while the crack computer interface allows the user to skip to a certain question at any time my hitting a "review" button, i was miffed to find that achiever's interface did not have such a feature.

For the DAT veterans out there - does the actual DAT test have such a feature that will allow me to skip to a certain question? Hopefully so, my pat scores arent that great and i need all the help i can get....thanks in advance!

No, not that I am aware of. However, you can skip questions and come back to them later. It isn't divided into sections though, e.g.- question 25 might be cubes and 32 might be angles.

are you sure that the real test isnt divided into the standard sections? that is not what i hear...

If I understand the question correctly, you are asking whether each main section (math, science, reading, PAT) is divided into individual sections? I am almost sure that they are not. For example, in the PAT, there isn't a tab you can click to "skip" to cubes or holes or angles, etc... However, you can skip an entire section of questions should you like and come back to them later.

However, I do think there is a tab that you can use to skip to any question within a section, it's just that you don't know where each section, say chem or orgo or holes or cubes, begins in each major section. I think that if you searched in the test just to try and do it in that order you would most likely be wasting time.

I used Topscore and I think it had a pretty good review of what the test was like. I can't remember if it had the feature you are talking about though.

I don't understand why you want to skip sections though, in my opinion, to get a good score you should focus on each question and dedicate a certain amt of time to each one. If you run out of time, just answer it and come back if you have extra time at the end.
