I'm a Canadian student applying to both Canadian and American school. On my DATs last year i scored the following:
RC: 19
AA: 18 (Bio: 19, Chem: 16)
PA: 21
Carving: 15
For Dalhousie, they will take your highest score in each section if the test is rewritten. In other words, i don't even need to look at my PA and can focus on other parts and my score will not drop. I was wondering if this is the same for the American Schools or will they take my best total score. I would like to know as I would rather use these marks and not let them see another test if I'm going to score low on PA or RC. Hope someone can help me. Thanks

It may vary between schools, however from what I've read (also as a Canadian student) most US schools will look at most RECENT score.

This is correct
If you do a search you can find a table posted by DocToothache showing each school and how they consider DAT scores.
