So i'm applying for SMP's, and still waiting to take my MCAT in a few weeks. My question is: is there some way I can add a "pending SMP grades" on AMCAS after I submit?
This is because i'm of course not guaranteed acceptance into SMP's. So, let's say I do get accepted, can I then add this on my AMCAS after I submit? or should I add this before I submit. Can I put some sort of a "maybe I will take an SMP" sort of response on my AMCAS?
I know I can add grades to AACOMAS update (i'm applying both MD and DO), so I figure I can just add it in there, but does AMCAS have something similar? I hear usually if schools know you're taking an SMP while applying they wait until the first semester finishes, but when do they make the decision to wait for your first semester SMP grades if you...say...get accepted to the SMP after you submit, and it's not already on your AMCAS pre submission?
