on the gwu secondary application, there is one essay question that asks whether science or people will be more important in your future. does anyone have any ideas on how to answer this question.

to me it seems complementary, i.e. if you do not have science, how can you expect to treat people. any help will be greately appreciated 🙂

You already got GWU's? Did they send it to you or did they email you?

I would say this: don't look at it as a mutually exclusive proposition. They really just want to know which is more important to you - and your future life in medicine. In my response last year, I first told them which was more important to me personally (i.e., answered their specific question first) and why. Then, I mentioned that I felt both were important, but in the end ___ mattered more. Hope this is helpful.

I concur with beckyg.
I'll be attending GW this fall...and the way I answered it was by picking only one and then stating the reason why.
Good luck!

They tell you that you must choose only one - they're TRYING to make it difficult to answer. I say just choose the one that you can make a better, more passionate argument for.

In reply to Moo's question, yes, I got George Washington's secondary.
I got it in the mail yesterday.
